        Barcelona underground heroes Ósserp is here again after five years of silence. The band has been making a name for itself on the Spanish Metal scene since 2013. With their second full-length album "Al meu pas s'alça la mort" released in 2017, the band managed to make a name for itself in the Spanish Underground market. Ósserp, one of the bands that survived the covid curse, finally released their new album to their fans. The album was released on August 19. The album was released in two physical forms as CD and Cassette. CD version was released by the Band, and the cassette format was published in limited numbers by Lost Records. The album has 9 tracks in total and is 42:30 minutes long. 


The band's genre in metal archives; If it's listed as Death Metal/Hardcore I guess that was a long time ago. Ósserp plays a very well blended version of Death Metal/Grindcore genres. Actually, this was not the kind of music I was expecting when I saw the album artwork. In this respect, I congratulate them for moving in a different direction than their contemporaneous. I really liked the artwork.  At first glance, the album may seem a bit long for you; but it's worth every minute of it. I really liked the band's guitar riff writing style. In addition to fully reflecting the Death Metal character, it also has a very dark atmosphere. It reminded me of old Morbid Angel records from time to time. The recordings were made by Aleix Archs in Labedoble Studio. Album recording, instrument tones, Mixing and Mastering are very good. I think the engineering work and the result they got are pretty good. This recording quality clearly conveys the drummer Alex's playing style and performance that increases the quality of the album one step further. 


        The lyrics are in Catalan, generally I see this attitude in bands from Barcelona. I think it adds a different aggressiveness to extreme music. "Els nous cants de la Sibil·la" is a good Death Metal album where different elements are successfully melted in a pot, fans should definitely give it a shot. 10/8

Barcelonalı underground neferleri Ósserp bes yillik suskunluktan sonra tekrar karşımızda. Grup 2013'ten bu yana Ispanya Metal sahnesinde isminden söz ettiriyor. Grup 2017'de piyasaya çıkan ikinci full-length albümleri "Al meu pas s'alça la mort" ile Ispanya Underground piyasasi olmak üzere isminden söz etmeyi başarmıştır. Covid lanetinden sag kurtulan gruplardan biri olan Ósserp nihayet yeni albümlerini fanlarina sundu.  Albüm 19 Ağustos'ta piyasaya cikti. CD ve Kaset formatında basılan albümün CD formati grup tarafından piyasaya sürüldü, Kaset formati ise Lost Records tarafindan sinirli sayida basildi. Albümde toplamda 9 parça bulunuyor ve 42:30 dakika uzunluğunda. 
Metal archives' da grubun tarzi; Death Metal/Hardcore olarak belirtilirse sanirim bu uzun zaman önceydi. Ósserp Death Metal/Grindcore tarzlarinin cok iyi harmanlanmis bir versiyonunu üretiyor. Aslinda albüm kapağına baktigimda bekledigim bu tarz bir müzik degildi. Bu acidan türdaslarina göre daha farklı bir yönde ilerledikleri icin onlari tebrik ederim, kapak calismasini cok begendim. Ilk bakista albüm size biraz uzun gelebilir; ama bunun her bir dakikasina değiyor. Grubun gitar riffi üretim tarzını çok beğendim. Death Metal karakterini tamamiyle yansitmasinin yaninda oldukca karanlik bir atmosferi de var. Bana zaman zaman eski Morbid Angel kayıtlarını hatırlattı. Kayitlar Aleix Archs tarafindan Labedoble Studio da yapılmış. Albüm kaydi, enstrüman tonlari, Mix ve Mastering gayet iyi. Bence isin mühendislik calismasi ve aldıkları sonuc oldukça iyi. Davulcu Alex'in çalım tarzini ve albümün kalitesini bir basamak arttiran performansini net bicimde dinleyiciye geçiriyor bu kayıt kalitesi. Sözler Katalanca, Barcelonali gruplarin genelinde bu tutumu görüyorum. Bence extreme müzige ayri bir agresiflik katiyor. 
"Els nous cants de la Sibil·la" farkli elementlerin basariyla bir potada eritildigi iyi bir Death Metal albümü, fanlari mutlaka bir şans vermeli. 10/8

Independent Black Metal July 29th, 2022 ENGLISH                Spain is not the first country that comes to mind when talking about Black Metal, but Spanish Fogos presented a remarkable and rare album in the second wave Black Metal genre to Black Metal fans.   First of all, I have to say that this is a total pure Black Metal album. Touches of different genres or there is no other sound than Guitar-Bass-Drums-Vocal. If you like bands like Marduk, Gorgoroth, Dark Funeral, Nagelfar, early Satyricon, this album is made for you. Although I have given many examples to picture the sound in your mind, a heavy Marduk influence is noticeable from the very first track. Fast, aggressive, razor-sharp tremolo riffs, bass guitars that are not in the foreground but bring the sound to one level up, the uninterrupted incredible Blast-Beat performance of the drums. DARKTHRONE - Astral Fortress Black'n Roll/Heavy/Speed Metal October 28th, 2022 Peaceville Records ENG           Darkthrone, one of the most important bands of Norwegian and World Black Metal, released their 20th studio album on October 28. The band wasn't in the Black Metal line when they released "Soulside Journey" in 1991. But they became one of the biggest names in the genre after their second album, "A Blaze in the Northern Sky". So much so that if you thought Norwegian Black Metal, it is the first name that comes to mind. Many bands that were active when the band stepped into the metal scene are not active today, from this point of view, it is of course great that Darkthrone is still producing; but it's also true that the die hard fans of the band have suffered with each product, especially since the album "The Cult Is Alive".           Darkthrone continues to progress along the lines of "Old Star", "Eternal Hails...". ...
