    I really needed to listen to something aggressive these days, Sacrifizer came across these days when I felt just like that. I can't say I'm a very good Speed Metal fan; but I love this album. The French band stepped into the metal scene in 2017. Their first demo recordings "Night of the Razors" were released in 2018 and their first EP record "La mort triomphante" in 2019. And finally on May 27, their first full-length album "Le diamant de Lucifer '' was released from Osmose Productions. The sound of the band runs along Vulture-Hexecutor line. However it is possible to find Black Metal touches such as Venom, Nifelheim, Sarcófago and even Aura Noir or Nocaturnal in Secrifizer's sound. To describe Secrifizer's music, I listed many band names at the beginning of the review; but that doesn't mean the band recorded a duplicate album. But after all, Speed, Speed-Black Metal is not a new style and it is very difficult to present original products that have never been tried while producing such an album.


    The album definitely has an eerie atmosphere. "Ascent to the Black Throne" is a great opening piece, Lethal's drum performance is stunning, as well as a tutorial on how to write aggressive Speed Metal guitar riffs. I don't know who is more prominent in guitar writing, but SteelGrinder and NightReaper did a good job together. Besides the quality riff writing, there are very good guitar solos, it's definitely catchy. The guitar solo of "La cathédrale" is a good example of this.

The bass guitar is not heard in the foreground; but the harmony she achieved with drums is great, especially in the parts where Lethal brutally performs Blast Beat. Contribution to sound is very important. At this point, I have to say that I really like the sound engineering workmanship of Heldscalla Studio. Before I started the review, I had a look at a few live videos of the band and I have to say that I like the performance of Slaughterwytch (Bass), I think she is absolutely indispensable for this band. The album's length is 40:12 minutes, might be considered a bit long for this genre; but the breaks with 80's synth sounds like 'The Portal' or 'L'Entité' save the album from monotony. The only negative detail of the album for me is Sexumer's inability to reach high tones while screaming. Maybe it's his own choice; but I think aggressive screams reaching higher tones could be more delicious.


    I haven't listened to a Speed Metal product in a long time. SACRIFIZER  has done a great job, congratulations to the band. If you are interested in this genre guys, definitely give this album a chance. 8/10

    Bugünlerde agresif bir şeyler dinlemeye gercekten cok ihtiyacim vardi, Sacrifizer tamda böyle hissettiğim bu günlerde karsima cikti. Çok iyi bir Speed Metal fani olduğum söylenemez; ama bu albüme bayildim. 


    Fransiz grup 2017 yilinda Metal sahnesine adim atti. 2018'de ilk demo kayitlari "Night of the Razors", 2019'da ise ilk EP kayitlari "La mort triomphante" piyasaya cikti. Ve nihayetinde 27 Mayıs'ta ilk tam zamanli albümleri "Le diamant de Lucifer" Osmose Productions etiketiyle piyasaya cikti.  Grubun soundu; Vulture, Hexecutor çizgisinde ilerliyor. Bununla birlikte Secrifizer'in soundunda Venom, Nifelheim, Sarcófago hatta Aura Noir veya Nocturnal tarzi Black Metal dokunuşları bulmak mümkün.  Secrifizer'in müziğini tarih etmek icin kritiğin basinda bir cok grup ismi saydim; fakat bu grubun kopya bir albüm kaydettikleri anlamina gelmiyor. Ama sonuçta Speed, Speed-Black Metal yeni bir tarz degil ve böyle bir albüm üretirken hic denenmemis orjinal ürünler sunmak oldukça zor. 


    Albümün kesinlikle ürkütücü bir atmosferi var. "Ascent to the Black Throne" harika bir acilis parcasi, Lethal'in davul performansı göz dolduruyor, bunun yaninda agresif Speed Metal gitar rifflerinin nasil yazilmasi gerektigine dair ders niteliğinde bir gitar  isciligi mevcut. Gitar yazımında kim daha agir basiyor bilmiyorum ama SteelGrinder ve NightReaper birlikte iyi is cikarmislar. Kaliteli riff yaziminin yaninda cok iyi gitar sololari var, kesinlikle akilda kalici, "La cathédrale"in gitar solosu buna iyi bir örnek. Bass gitar ön planda degil; ama özellikle Lethal'in Blast Beat'i hunharca sergiledigi bölümlerde Slaughterwytch ile yakaladigi uyum harika, sounda katkilari çok önemli. Bu noktada Heldscalla Studio'nun ses mühendisliği isciligini cok begendigini söylemem gerek.Grubun kritigine baslamadan önce grubun birkaç live videosuna göz gezdirdim. Slaughterwytch performansini da cok begendigimi söylemeliyim, bence kesinlikle bu grubun vazgeçilmezi. Albümün 40:12 dakika uzunluğunda, bu tarz için biraz uzun diye düşünülebilir; ama The Portal' veya 'L'Entité' gibi 80'lerden synth sesleriyle verilen molalar albümü monotonluktan kurtarıyor. Benim icin albümün tek negatif detayi; Sexumer'in ciglik atarken yüksek tonlara ulaşamaması. Belki bu onun kendi tercihidir; fakat bence daha tiz tonlara ulaşan agresif screamler daha lezzetli olabilirdi. 


    Uzun zamandir bir Speed Metal ürünü dinlememiştim. SACRIFIZER çok iyi bir is basarmis grubu tebrik ederim. bu tarza ilginiz var kesinlikle bu albüme şans verin.  8/10

Independent Black Metal July 29th, 2022 ENGLISH                Spain is not the first country that comes to mind when talking about Black Metal, but Spanish Fogos presented a remarkable and rare album in the second wave Black Metal genre to Black Metal fans.   First of all, I have to say that this is a total pure Black Metal album. Touches of different genres or there is no other sound than Guitar-Bass-Drums-Vocal. If you like bands like Marduk, Gorgoroth, Dark Funeral, Nagelfar, early Satyricon, this album is made for you. Although I have given many examples to picture the sound in your mind, a heavy Marduk influence is noticeable from the very first track. Fast, aggressive, razor-sharp tremolo riffs, bass guitars that are not in the foreground but bring the sound to one level up, the uninterrupted incredible Blast-Beat performance of the drums. DARKTHRONE - Astral Fortress Black'n Roll/Heavy/Speed Metal October 28th, 2022 Peaceville Records ENG           Darkthrone, one of the most important bands of Norwegian and World Black Metal, released their 20th studio album on October 28. The band wasn't in the Black Metal line when they released "Soulside Journey" in 1991. But they became one of the biggest names in the genre after their second album, "A Blaze in the Northern Sky". So much so that if you thought Norwegian Black Metal, it is the first name that comes to mind. Many bands that were active when the band stepped into the metal scene are not active today, from this point of view, it is of course great that Darkthrone is still producing; but it's also true that the die hard fans of the band have suffered with each product, especially since the album "The Cult Is Alive".           Darkthrone continues to progress along the lines of "Old Star", "Eternal Hails...". ...
